Transparency, low noise and impulse response accuracy

The GLOCKENKLANG 2-band bass electronics feature an active/passive switch (push/pull on the volume control), a balance control with no volume reduction in the centre position, a treble control offering +/- 18 dB@18 KHz in active mode and acting as a classic treble cut-off in passive mode, and a bass control offering +/- 14 dB@40 Hz. Transparency, low noise and faithful reproduction of the original signal are the key features of this exceptional bass electronics unit.

Technical specifications:
Gain: 1 (0 dB)
Input impedance (unbalanced): 1.5 MOhm
Frequency response: 20 Hz – 20 kHz
Bass control: +/- 14 dB@40 Hz
Treble control: +/- 18 dB@18 kHz
Power supply: 9/18 volts/1.3 mA
Minimum installation depth: 28 mm

The 2-band stacked electronics are fitted with treble/bass controls (2-axis dual potentiometers). The classic treble cut-off is not possible in passive mode!

There is no audible difference between active and passive operation when the tone controls are set to the centre position. On bass guitars with a single pickup, this can be connected directly to the volume circuit board. The balance control is then not required. It is supplied pre-wired with highly flexible cables. This ensures the simplest possible installation. The battery voltage is between 9 volts and 18 volts.
