Next-generation tweeter system
Thanks to the newly implemented high-end tweeter, the frequency range has been
significantly extended. With a resolution of up to 23 kHz, the Acoustic 8-2 delivers a
silky, airy sound and a depth of detail that brings even the finest overtones and
string sounds to life.
Solid construction & low resonance
Weighing 12.9 kg and featuring a cabinet made from high-quality multiplex,
the speaker is designed for maximum rigidity. This guarantees completely
resonance-free sound reproduction, which ensures the necessary
precision, particularly in the low-frequency range (from 42 Hz).
The new design language
The Acoustic 8-2 introduces the new hexagonal honeycomb grille. This design
sets the standard for the future appearance of all Glockenklang loudspeakers. It offers
maximum mechanical stability combined with optimum airflow for an uncoloured
sound.
